However， we meed dreams。 They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality。 They keep us going。 Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great。 When we were little kids， we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy， something significant。 Now what we need to do is to maintain them， refresh them and turn them into reality。 However， the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions。 Well， just start with concrete objectives and stick to it。 Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future。 Through our talents， through our wits， through our endurance and through our creativity， we will make it。

Hold fast to dreams， for if dreams die， life is a broken—winged bird that cannot fly。 Hold fast to dreams， for when dreams go， life is a barren field frozen with snow。 So my dear friends， think of your old and maybe dead dreams。 Whatever it is， pick it up and make it alive from today。

Catch the star that holds your destiny， the one that forever twinkles within your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they still sparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as long as you commit yourself to it.

Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams， remember that your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone is goimg to approve of the choices youve made， have faith in your judgement， catch the star that twinkles in your heart， and it will lead you to your destinys path. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.

Take pride in your accomplishments， as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes， but dont let them discourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased， but acquired through hard work and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for you alone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true.

So dont think that you are neglected， or not understood， or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.

Dont pity yourself， criticise yourself. You know that the only thing in the world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

My great pleasure to share my dream with you today.when i was a child, i wanted to be a teacher. my father was a teacher, and he taught me a lot. i worshiped him very much. on my tenth birthday, he asked me,“what do you want to be when you grow up?”i answered proudly,“i want to be a teacher like you!”on hearing this, my father was very happy and said to me, “work hard and your dream will come true.”

Not long ago, one of my primary school teachers was ill. she wanted me to take her place for two weeks. i was glad but nervous. my father said to me,“this is a good chance. seize it! i wish you success!” when i came into the classroom, the children were very happy. i introduced myself to them. soon, i got on well with them. they all liked me and i loved them. with my father and headmasters help, i did the work very well. now, i often miss those lovely children.

That experience had made me even more interested in being a teacher in the future.

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of whats next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart theres a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

Even though I wanted to give up learning English. It was Ms. Li who helped me to find ways to overcome my difficulties. She helped me to practice speaking English everyday. a year ago, when i was working on a term paper, i needed a book on business law and found a copy in the law school library. however, the librarian coldly rejected my request to borrow it, saying, “you can’t borrow this book, you’re not a student here.” in the end, i had to end 200 yuan to buy a copy. meanwhile, the copy in the law school gathered dust on the shelf.

at the beginning of this semester, i heard that my university had started to think of unifying its libraries and linking them to libraries at other universities, so my experience wouldn’t be repeated. barriers would be replaced by bridges. an inter-library loan system would give us access to books from any library. with globalization and china integrated into the world, i believe many of these intangible walls will be knocked down.

i know that globalization is a controversial issue, and it is hard to say whether it is good or bad. but one thing is for sure: it draws our attention to china’s tangible and intangible walls and forces us to examine their role in the modern world.

and how about the ancient walls of mine and other cities? should we tear them down? definitely not. my city, like beijing and other cities, is actually making a great effort to preserve the walls. these walls attract historians, archaeologists, and many schoolchildren who are trying to study our history and cultural heritage. walls have become bridges to our past and to the rest of the world. if the ancient builders of these walls were still alive today, they would be proud to see such great changes in the role of their walls. they are now bridges that link east and west, south and north, and all countries of the world. our cultural heritage will survive globalization.

记得小时候，就喜欢和小伙伴们在山上或是在敬老院里探险，敬老院已荒废已久，敬老院里有两具猫的尸体，我在猜想，应该是饿死的吧，虽然小的时候不敢去细看，甚至不敢看，现在也不敢上前去看，但我想无所谓了，我应该克服我自己胆小的毛病，有什么大不了的，它们都已经死了，能把你怎么样。

我发明的安全帽，外部有一个发声器，当同学走在路中央或违反交通规则时，它会自动告诉“请遵守交通安全”。当后面有车来时，他会说：“注意，后面有车，前靠右边！”安全帽的外部还有一盏灯，当你走夜路时，它会自动开灯，为你照亮前行的路，同时，提醒来车的驾驶员。

当你走在路上无聊了，可以打开安全帽里面的随身听按钮，听听名曲，给你带来音乐的盛餐。当你没带手表时，它会准时告诉你现在是几刻。

安全帽的顶端，装有一个微型太阳能电池，当把安全帽戴在头上，有阳光照射时，它就能吸收太阳光，储存能量，转化为电能，这样就不用换电池了。

安全帽还有一个自动调结温度的功能，这样，遇到十分寒冷的天气，也不怕感冒了。

in a sense weve come to our nations capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked insufficient funds.

but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. and so, weve come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. now is the time to make justice a reality for all of gods children.

It is dream that adds fullness, variety, and spice to our life and makes it worth living.

I would like to take Liu Xiang as an example.Liu,as the first chinese man to win an Olympic track and field medal,dreamed of defending his Olympic title on home soil.To achieve this dream,he was bathed with sweat on the training ground every day.What’s more,now and then he suffered injuries.However,neither the injury nor the pressure has prevented him from striving to achieve the goal.Eventually,he kept or even renewed his record in the men’s 110-meter hurdle with his perseverance.

It is true that barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams,but remember success is hiding behind them.Instead of making dozens of excuses for your failure,just think about Liu Xiang’s story,hold on your dreams and never give up.

If you can do the following points,your dreams will come true one day.First,plant your dream in a fertilized soil.Second,water it with your diligence and give it the best food----knowledge.Third,remove the seeds of unhappiness for they can destory your dream.The most important is let the seed of your dream enjoy the beautiful sunshine,so what it can grow well.And however hard the situation is,o not give it up and always give it your best care.Then you will get a good harvest in the end.

i don’t know what that dream is that you have, i don’t care how disappointing it might have been as you’ve been working toward that dream, but that dream that you’re holding in your mind, that it’s possible!

some of you already know, that it’s hard, it’s not easy, it’s hard changing your life. that in the process of working on your dreams you are going to incur a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain. there are moments that you are going to doubt yourself. you said, god why is this happening to me? i’m just trying to take care of my family, trying to give them a good life, i’m not trying to steal o-r rob from anybody. why does this have to happen to me. fo-r those of you that have experienced some hardships – don’t give up on your dream.

the rough times are gonna come, but they have not come to stay, they have come to pass. greatness, is not this wonderful, esoteric, illusive, god like feature that only the special among can achieve. it’s something that truly exists, in all of us. it’s very important for you to believe that you are the one!

most people they raise a family, they earn a living a-n-d then they die. they stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, the stop pushing themselves. then a lot of people like to complain but they don’t wanna do anything about their situation. a-n-d most people don’t work on their dreams – why?

1. is because of fear, fear of failure “what if things don’t work out“?

2. is fair of success “what if they do a-n-d i can’t handle it?”

these are not risk takers

you have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much time trying to get people to like you, you know other people mo-re than you know yourself. you’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out with them, you want to be just like them. you’ve invested so much time on them, you don’t know who you are. i challenge you to spend time by yourself.

it’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want to live your dream. but people who are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning. when you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!

i challenge you to define your value.

everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed. it’s necessary that you align yourself with people a-n-d attract people into your business, who are hungry, people who are unstoppable a-n-d unreasonable, people who are refusing to live life just as it is a-n-d who want mo-re!

the people that are living their dreams are parting with winners, to attach themselves to the a-n-d the people who are living their dreams are the people that know that if it’s going to happen it’s up to them!

if you want to be mo-re successful, if you want to have a-n-d do stuff you never done before then i’m asking you to invest in you! someone’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality. you don’t have to go through life being a victim. a-n-d even though you face disappointments, you have to know within yourself that ‘i can do this, even if no one else sees it for me, i must see it for myself!’

no matter how bad it is, how hard it gets, say to yourself, i’m going to make it!

i wanna represent an idea. i wanna represent possibilities. some of you right now, you wanna go to the next level. you wanna be a civil engineer, you wanna council, you wanna be a doctor.

listen to me: you can’t get to that level. you can’t get to that level until you start to invest in your mind.

i dare you to invest in your mind.

i dare you to invest time. i dare you to be alone. i dare you to spend an hour alone to get to know yourself. i challenge you to get to a place where people do not like o-r do not even bother you anymore. why? because you’re not concerned with making them happy anyway. because you’re trying to blow up. you’re trying to get to the next level. because you’re investing in your mind.

if you’re still talking about your dream a-n-d your goals but you have not done anything just take the first step.

you can make your parents proud, you can make your school proud you can touch millions of people’s lives a-n-d the world will never be the same again because you came this way. don’t let anybody steal your dream!

after we face a rejection a-n-d a “no” o-r we have a meeting a-n-d no one shows up, o-r somebody says “you can count on me” a-n-d they don’t come through, what if we have that kind of attitude that cause reposes, nobody believes in you, you’ve lost again, a-n-d again, the lights are cut off but you are still looking at your dream, reviewing it everyday a-n-d saying to yourself: it’s not over until i win!

you can live your dream!

我不管你的梦想是什么，也不管你在追求梦想的途中，经历了多少挫折和痛苦，只要你始终坚持自己的梦想，它就有实现的一天!你们有的知道这很难，你们很难改变自己的生活轨迹，在追求梦想的过程中，你将遭遇数不尽的挫折、失败和痛苦，很多时候你甚至会怀疑你自己。你说，老天为什么会让我遇上这种事情，我只想照顾好我的家人，给他们安定的生活，我本分做人，不偷不抢，老天为什么对我那么不公平。如果你们有人经历过这样的磨难，请不要放弃心中的梦想!

艰难困苦有时尽，磨难终究会过去，卓越和伟大不是那么崇高辉煌、遥不可攀。上天钟爱的特质，只有少数特别的人才具备，这种东西其实潜藏在我们每一个人身上，你务必要相信——你也能发掘这种潜能!

大多数人整日里只为养家糊口而奔忙，庸庸碌碌了此一生，他们放弃了成长和自致的机会，放弃了施展才华、挑战自我的可能。很多人因此而满腹牢骚、怨天尤人，可他们不愿意有所作为、改变现状，大部分人没有实现梦想的斗志，为什么?

一是害怕失败，“如果到头来一场空怎么办?”

二是担忧成功，“如果到时候我做不了呢?”

他们都是看客，不是冒险者!

你用了太多的时间去跟随别人，花了太多的心思让人们认可你、喜欢你，你对他人的了解胜过了解你自己，你会琢磨、探究他们的心思，你想跟他们聚在一起，你只想跟他们一样，因为你在他们身上投入了太多，你都忘了你自己是谁，你能不能自主支配你的时间?

把失败者赶出你的生活圈子，这样你才能更好地去实现你的梦想，对于追求梦想的人来说，他的人生意义与众不同。当你成为了这样的人，你会开始脱离其他人的生活轨迹，开始展现自己的独特和个性，如果你继续亦步亦趋地跟随他人，甘愿做一个盲目的模仿者，你永远没有出人头地的时候，反之，你可以成为最好的你!

我建议你界定下自己的价值，其他人看不见这个，他们也不会加入你的人生，因为他们看不到……你要知道你不是普通的看客，你要招引志同道合的人携手同行，你们追求梦想的脚步无可阻挡，你们拒绝满足现状!追求，永不停歇!勇于追求梦想的人是未来的成功者。他们知道成功与否只在于他们自己。

如果你想取得更大的成功，拥有或者从事前所未有的事业，那么我建议你对自己投资! 旁人对你的看法不能成为你迁就的理由。
