不知道究竟是现实束缚了自己，还是梦想束缚了自己，抑或是自己束缚自己。90后，曾经的少年终于熬成了青年，成熟的另一面是看清了社会的真实与本质。不在希罕所谓的自由与理想，更不屑一堆无事生非之士的评头论足，所考虑的都是些纸醉金迷了，倔强的青春仅存的一点尊严也掩于开始堕落的内心深处。

其实我骨子里很向往一些农村，因为我总觉得我的根应该在那里，所以有不少人会认为我是个没有大志的人，我也懒得去解释什么。但我深深知道农村有山有水的味道不会让我在繁华的都市中迷失自我，说实话我不知道我还能抗拒多久，人最容易在悸动中彷徨，在彷徨中迷惑，在迷惑中失去最本质的东西。在这个金钱至上的社会下，一切正常以不正常为主流，一切正确以不正确为主导，最终让人们在痛苦的边缘里徘徊着，远离了最初的愿望。

本是以为人生无关富裕与贫穷这两个话题，并非是我清高，也并非是理想主义，而是人生的意义已经在这个纸醉金迷的社会下变得价值观糜烂了。骨子里都渴望着富人的生活，可大地的怀抱不可能同时给天马行空的人。成熟，在冒起胡渣的那刻已经让我们变得繁杂起来，同时现实的生活总是让我们失去了人生最该追寻的方向。

心里埋怨梦想离现实太远了，可能因为没找着属于自己的位置，东经180度北纬60度，你喜欢这个地方，但这个地方未必适合你。就好像是一株阔叶树，就该呆在它的热带雨林。

还是不知道自己想表达些什么，但我还是坚持写了下来，也许谁都看不懂，那么就让自己明悟吧。前方的路是个未知数，会延伸吗？我想应该会吧！和心里的那条神经有关系。朋友又说我是一个疯子，我淡淡的笑了笑反而喜欢上疯子这个词眼了，这个社会也开始需要了一些疯子的出现，哪怕只是傻傻的疯子。

一位哲学家曾经说过：“我在梦里走了很多路，在床上醒来。”它生动地告诉我们，人不能活在梦想的理想中。“退成网不如钓鱼”，“千里之行始于足下”，这些都告诉我们不要空想，要从点滴做起，真正把理想赋予实际行动。

大一，我把学习放在第一位。上课认真听讲，一直记笔记。下课后经常在自习室学习，经常去图书馆看书扩大知识面。现在我深深体会到时间的宝贵，所以我努力抓住每一天充实自己，锻炼自己。除了不放松学习，我还参加学校的社会工作。现在是班级宣传委员，学院学生会成员，学生工作助理。我在工作中发现自己的不足并努力改正，提高了个人能力，实现了自我价值。平时，我没有放弃参加课外活动。演讲比赛、书法比赛、英语比赛、辩论赛等。我也参与过。在和别人合作的过程中，我感受到了团队的力量。这些活动培养了我的兴趣，提高了我的个人素质和专业技能。我的梦想是成为一名金融分析师。

我觉得我们心里都有淡淡的光。虽然我们不能准确判断它是什么，但我们可以一路跟随它。即使伤痕累累，也不容易放弃。因为那是我们遗忘的最纯粹的梦。也许将来我们可能会彻底放弃它，但至少现在我们还需要带着它微弱的力量和光芒一路走下去。那是发自内心最虔诚的信仰。

经常听到一句话：“理想很丰满，现实很骨感。”我想很多人会用这句话作为逃避梦想的借口。但是，我觉得这句话不仅让我们明白了梦想与现实的差距，也告诉我们，当梦想“奔跑”的时候，它就会变成现实。因此，它需要行动来实现你的梦想。一个胖的人可以通过锻炼变瘦。同样，只要让梦想“奔跑”，它最终也会成为现实。如果你从来不尝试去实现你的梦想，而是让现实整天成为你梦想的挡箭牌，那才是最大的悲哀。

So dont think that you are neglected， or not understood， or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.

I would like to take Liu Xiang as an example.Liu,as the first chinese man to win an Olympic track and field medal,dreamed of defending his Olympic title on home soil.To achieve this dream,he was bathed with sweat on the training ground every day.What’s more,now and then he suffered injuries.However,neither the injury nor the pressure has prevented him from striving to achieve the goal.Eventually,he kept or even renewed his record in the men’s 110-meter hurdle with his perseverance.

It is true that barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams,but remember success is hiding behind them.Instead of making dozens of excuses for your failure,just think about Liu Xiang’s story,hold on your dreams and never give up.

most people they raise a family, they earn a living a-n-d then they die. they stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, the stop pushing themselves. then a lot of people like to complain but they don’t wanna do anything about their situation. a-n-d most people don’t work on their dreams – why?

1. is because of fear, fear of failure “what if things don’t work out“?

these are not risk takers

you have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much time trying to get people to like you, you know other people mo-re than you know yourself. you’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out with them, you want to be just like them. you’ve invested so much time on them, you don’t know who you are. i challenge you to spend time by yourself.

it’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want to live your dream. but people who are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning. when you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!

i challenge you to define your value.

everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed. it’s necessary that you align yourself with people a-n-d attract people into your business, who are hungry, people who are unstoppable a-n-d unreasonable, people who are refusing to live life just as it is a-n-d who want mo-re!

the people that are living their dreams are parting with winners, to attach themselves to the a-n-d the people who are living their dreams are the people that know that if it’s going to happen it’s up to them!

no matter how bad it is, how hard it gets, say to yourself, i’m going to make it!

i wanna represent an idea. i wanna represent possibilities. some of you right now, you wanna go to the next level. you wanna be a civil engineer, you wanna council, you wanna be a doctor.

listen to me: you can’t get to that level. you can’t get to that level until you start to invest in your mind.

i dare you to invest in your mind.

i dare you to invest time. i dare you to be alone. i dare you to spend an hour alone to get to know yourself. i challenge you to get to a place where people do not like o-r do not even bother you anymore. why? because you’re not concerned with making them happy anyway. because you’re trying to blow up. you’re trying to get to the next level. because you’re investing in your mind.

if you’re still talking about your dream a-n-d your goals but you have not done anything just take the first step.

after we face a rejection a-n-d a “no” o-r we have a meeting a-n-d no one shows up, o-r somebody says “you can count on me” a-n-d they don’t come through, what if we have that kind of attitude that cause reposes, nobody believes in you, you’ve lost again, a-n-d again, the lights are cut off but you are still looking at your dream, reviewing it everyday a-n-d saying to yourself: it’s not over until i win!

Thank you very much!非常感谢！在接下来的时间里，我将和大家一起分享一下学英语的苦辣酸甜。最主要的，是想通过我在北大六年教学经历、美国六年生活经历、“新东方”六年教学经历，来和大家交流一下怎能样尽快的提高大家的listeing and speaking comprehensions.

我的经历具体是这样的：我是1980年从内蒙古考到北大的，比大家高了好多届。我在北大学英文，然后又在北大教书。教书六年之后，在1990年，我求学到美国。我发现到了，美国一下飞机，我一句话也听不懂。当时我想，至少我学了几年英文，所以打算继续学英文。正在我在考虑到哪里去的时候，我听到一种说法，叫做everybody in American can speak English。那么我又怎么能够在美国赚钱呢？所以，我必须改变这个想法。于是我该学了学计算机。计算机硕士毕业以后，我在美国的贝尔实验室做了两年的软件工程师。在1995年，“新东方”的创始人俞敏洪来到了美国，在他的建议下，我有回国，开始参加“新东方”的创建。我和俞敏洪在北大是同班同学——“新东方”的五个“创业元老”里有三个是北大的同学。除了我们两个还有一个是“新东方”的图书总策划包凡一老师，他是“新东方”的写作专家。我在大学时代是他们的班长，他们两个当时是全班最落后的学生。我那时的主要精力和时间都花在每天晚上陪他们两个在湖畔散步，劝

在美国的时候我学计算机之前，还有一段小插曲。那就是我险些报考了哈佛的人力学系。我离开北大之后，吸引我的学校只有两所，一所是英国的牛津大学，就是Oxford University；另一所呢就是Harvard University。那时候，哈佛大学人力学系的系主任，对我进行了面试之后觉得可以录取我，并且提出可以给我提供五年的Scholarship。他说：“你只要答应我一个条件，”我说：“什么条件？”——这个教授研究的是非常偏的一个科目，所以招生好多年都没有找到一个合适的学生。他是在人力学系研究中国文化中苗族文化的。——他说：“只要你跟我学苗语，我就给你奖学金。”我说：“可以。”但是，我冷静下来之后想：我拿了这些钱，在五年之内，过的是天上人间的日子。就算不能从哈佛大学毕业，也能够肄业。将来至少能够跟孙子夸口说，爷爷当年进过哈佛。但是这还不行，因为我拿到这个学位，最终的目的是要找个饭碗。我就考虑，在北美这样大片的土地上，有多少地方需要我这样的人才呢？——苗族文化专家。通过“研究”，我发现，全北美只有一个地方需要，就是哈佛大学、人力学系、这位老师。所以，如果全北美只有一个机会，他的目标里只有我一个人，那么这个机会对我来说是百分之百的！但是，五年之后，我仍然处于一个非常劣势的地位。我如果能在哈佛大学拿到学位，接下来的梦想就是当上哈佛大学的教授、终身教授。美国大学关于终身教授的规定：只要这个教授不去世，你就别想替代他。我想，万一我六十岁就“夭折“了，那位教授八十多岁还健在，我也还是助教。想到这儿，我就对那位教授说：“I want to learn something different。”
